It's the Terrible Two's

Another year has gone by and what I first intended to do with this blog has not been kept up. Yes, I am disappointed at how I've neglected to keep up with the daily growth of my baby girl Dahlia and all her little adventures! It has been extremely difficult to juggle work, being a mom and blogging. I have to the first two first and then somehow make time to post....will try to be better this year :)

For now I am cramming up 22 months of special memories into one post, the terrible two's at a glance:

At almost two years old Dahlia loves the camera already, she is always all smiles
For her 2nd Birthday we celebrated it at John's incredible Pizza...She enjoyed all the rides
Damien and Daren, her brothers also enjoying the rides at John's Incredible Pizza
When summer came around, swimming is all she wanted to do
We also attended what seemed like endless kid's birthday parties
As well as one bridal shower
Dahlia also became an un-announce cheerleader for her Brother's Football Team, The Jets
Dahlia loved supporting her brother at games.
We visited the zoo...
Knotts Berry Farm......she was tall enough to ride most kid's rides!
Loving the time spent with her brother Daren
For Halloween she was the little mermaid....but her idolized princess soon changed after this
Dahlia and her little cousins at a Frozen birthday party...this is when princess Anna became her hero
For Thanksgiving we went to Big Bear
For Christmas we went to Lake Tahoe
Enjoying the park and yes it is the middle of winter in California.
Dancing on her first day of Preschool/Daycare.....the transition from Home Babysitter to Daycare went smoothly.
She is growing up so fast :( and she has also completely moved on from little mermaid to princess Anna, hence the braids, which she asks for daily!

Dahlia Growing up

Wow! It's been a really long time since I've logged on to create a post. Work has completely taken over my life and since starting this job about six months ago my poor little blog was put on hold.

Although life at work is still hectic I wanted to log in and update the blog just a bit since Dahlia is now 22 months!! I can't believe how times flies. She is so big and her hair, don't even get me started, it has taken a life of it's own. Dahlia can now say a few words like "stop that",  "it's mine", " I don't know", and of course simple words like mom, mine, milk, food and stuff like that. She is so smart and the only thing that is bothering us right is that she refuses to call her dad "dad" she calls him by his first name which is longer and harder than saying dad. It's funny but at the same time frustrating, specially to her dad.

So here are some photos of the past few months, didn't want to photobomb so I picked photos I've taken with my phone:

First football game for the boys....she is was in team spirit colors

Dahlia was a flower girl to her cousin's wedding

Having fun at chuck'e cheese

Boys were killers for Halloween

So Dahlia was the bride of Chuckie....did not leave the make up on

However any other day she pretends to wear lipstick

For the most part she is a trouble maker like in this photo....

But can be so cute, Santa still gave her gifts :)

Here she is being potty trained but is singing "No, no no"....She is really stubborn

Lastly the most recent photo of all three kids, dressed in 49ers gear ready to celebrate Daren's bday

Freeport & More Fun

During our trip we also visited Lucaya Beach located in Freeport, Bahamas. While soaking in the sunny (partly cloudy) beach we decided to take a little boat tour....it was so bumpy because of the waves that at some point I thought we were going to fall off, specially because the people on the banana boat behind us kept falling off. My oldest kid wanted to ride it but after seeing how dangerous it was I refused so he had to ride the boat with the rest of us.

This ship in the background is an original ship used in the first Pirate of the Caribbean Movie!

Holding on to Dahlia who was asleep for pretty much the entire tour

The rest of these photos were taken on the cruise ship. As you can see the kids had an awesome time sliding and soaking up, including Dahlia!

She loved the kiddie slide so much we couldn't get her to leave!!

Atlantis Adventure Photo Diary

In our recent trip to the Bahamas we visited Atlantis, a resort with a water park and a amazing aquarium which is home to so many sea creatures! It also has a small recreation of the "lost city of Atlantis" call the Dig....These are some of our photos from that day. I tried not to photo bomb the blog so I was selective of the photos, hope you guys enjoy them :)

This is the Atlantis Beach, so beautiful with clear water. The sky looks cloudy but it was so so HOT!

Dahlia loved the beach with it's soft sand :)

Shot of the lagoon as we were leaving...
