I knew hiking with a baby and a stroller would be difficult
but I wanted to try it. I was exhausted pushing a stroller (on the easy trial)
was harder than I thought! But Dahlia loved it, she was in her stroller most of
the time and when she was walking she was getting dirty, picking up everything
she found in the ground and calling out to strangers “hey!”. People kept
looking at her smiling, they must of thought I was crazy bringing a baby to
hike.
Her outfit was not hiking appropriate, I guess I didn’t give
it much thought that she would want to walk around also. She wore a Cinderella tutu
sweater and matching leggings that I bought at target. At the end of the hike she was super dirty!
The view from the highest point me and Dahlia went.
When we got home she was so tired she asked to go sleep, she
kept crying and saying “mimis”. I put her on her swing and she knock out for a
couple of hours….am thinking we should go hiking more often :) ….Not only
because Dahlia liked it but the boys absolutely loved it too and want to go
again.

Awww, but at least she looked adorable! My girls hardly ever dress appropriate for the situation!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! When we go hiking we carry our son in the baby carrier (baby bjorn is the kind we have) but then again, he cant walk yet! It will be interesting to see how he does once he can walk on his own!
