Freeport & More Fun

During our trip we also visited Lucaya Beach located in Freeport, Bahamas. While soaking in the sunny (partly cloudy) beach we decided to take a little boat was so bumpy because of the waves that at some point I thought we were going to fall off, specially because the people on the banana boat behind us kept falling off. My oldest kid wanted to ride it but after seeing how dangerous it was I refused so he had to ride the boat with the rest of us.

This ship in the background is an original ship used in the first Pirate of the Caribbean Movie!

Holding on to Dahlia who was asleep for pretty much the entire tour

The rest of these photos were taken on the cruise ship. As you can see the kids had an awesome time sliding and soaking up, including Dahlia!

She loved the kiddie slide so much we couldn't get her to leave!!

Atlantis Adventure Photo Diary

In our recent trip to the Bahamas we visited Atlantis, a resort with a water park and a amazing aquarium which is home to so many sea creatures! It also has a small recreation of the "lost city of Atlantis" call the Dig....These are some of our photos from that day. I tried not to photo bomb the blog so I was selective of the photos, hope you guys enjoy them :)

This is the Atlantis Beach, so beautiful with clear water. The sky looks cloudy but it was so so HOT!

Dahlia loved the beach with it's soft sand :)

Shot of the lagoon as we were leaving...

Happy Father's Day!

This post is dedicated to one of the best daddy's I know, the man in my life that has been there thick and thin and is an amazing dad to my kids....He may have a lot of tattoos, be a little tempered at times and not perfect but he is the glue to our little family and the super hero to my kid's world. There is no one else I would rather be sharing this great responsibility of parenthood with than him!

Happy Father's Day Love!

Also happy father's day to all the other dads out there and the mommy's that are dads too!

If you haven't checked out this post on dad's I highly recommend it the "50 rules for Dads of Daughters"

Easy Father's Day GIft- DIY

For this father's day the kids and I decided to make something sweet and easy since the day is fast approaching and we just got back! The gift is a decorated ice bucket.....most likely will be used to hold his beer, and he does love that!

This is what we used:
Sticker letters
Industrial Glue
Plastic wrap

First the kids used the letters to write out a message on the bucket "Dad you ROCK!".

Then we glued the rocks around the message.

And voila it is done! Last step was to wrap it in plastic and add more decorative stickers

We also bought him Father's day cards with a bbq theme since we are throwing one for that special day.

Additionally my youngest boy wanted to paint him something so here he is drawing it, will reveal his masterpiece when we surprise dad on Sunday :)
